In some games, you can plod through levels with little regard for what weapon you've equipped. GoldenEye has a weapons roster comparable to its intricate gameplay. Using your "favorite"" weapon, Iinstead of the ""appropriate" weapon will usually purchase you a body bag. The key to success can be as simple as using the right tool for the job--if you're in a wide open area and have a Sniper Rifle, target your opponent with the cross hairs, zoom in, and pick them off from out of the their range! Perhaps the games most important weapon tactic is to use your weapon's reticle to target a foe's head. A shot here is lethal and drops an enemy quickly, allowing you to conserve precious ammo. It's well worth the time it takes to practice your marksmanship. As you progress deeper into the game, the ability to make quick, precise shots often means the difference between success and failure.

GoldenEye isn't your standard 3-D shooter. You can't rush through levels blasting away like you might in say, Qauke or Dume Nukem, for example. Stealth is crucial here, so unless your in a level with a time limit take your time and make every shot count.
